Nourish, Heal, Remember: The Path I'm Walking With My Family

I want to speak to the moms, parents, and families who are doing their best to walk away from toxic 'preventative' care, who are choosing better for their families even when they don’t always know what “better” looks like yet.


We’re not just saying no to vaccines and prescriptions anymorewe’re saying no to disconnection. No to not knowing how to care for our own children. No to the lie that health only lives in a pill bottle.


What I see over and over is that many of us know what we don’t want—but we were never taught how to rebuild something different. How to actually work with the body instead of trying to override it. How to turn colds, tummy aches, emotional crashes into moments of trust—not panic.


I’m not above this.

I’m deep in it, too.

I’m undoing years of damage in my own body.

I’m feeding myself differently.

I’m doing the work to stop passing the same patterns down.


But I’ve also learned a lot. And I want to offer what I can to anyone who's trying to figure this out without a roadmap.


It’s not just about what oils or herbs to keep on hand—though I’ll share that too.


It’s about waking up to the truth that we already have what we need.

That the wisdom isn’t lost, it’s just been buried under convenience, fear, and distractions.


We’re not learning this for the first time. We’re remembering. And when you remember something you were born to do, everything starts to change.


So here’s what’s always stocked in my medicine bag—for my kids and myself:

Essential Oils (in the humidifier or bath):

Frankincense: immune booster, anti-inflammatory, energetic clearing

Lavender: calming, fever reducer

Chamomile: digestive and nervous system support


Other must-haves:

Castor Oil – relieves constipation and belly aches when massaged onto the stomach

These are my anchors—always evolving, but always here.


Plant medicine and food go hand in hand on this healing journey. And when I talk to other moms about where to start, nourishing food is always part of the conversation.


Nourishment is the piece that gets overlooked in a world obsessed with fixes. But our cells are listening to everything we put in, and food has the power to shift everything—mood, immunity, behavior, sleep, even our ability to connect.


You don’t have to overhaul your whole kitchen overnight.

Start with real fats.

Start with foods that come from the Earth and haven’t been stripped of their magic.

Start small, but start with intention.

One meal at a time.


The more you nourish your body, the more it will trust you.

And the more you trust your body, the more you’ll remember what you’ve always known:

you were built to heal.


You don’t have to know everything to begin.

You just have to be willing to remember—and take one step at a time.
