Join us for a hands-on Halloween herbal adventure designed for curious kids and their families. Through touch, smell, taste, sight, movement, and a whole lot of imagination, children will discover just how weird—and wildly fun—the plant world can be.
Children will become Creature Trackers, following clues and traversing imaginary landscapes as they make their way from one mysterious discovery to the next. Along the way, they'll use their senses to investigate strange finds like Monster Slime, Ghost Breath, Mermaid Tears, mysterious creature blood, Witch's Brew, and more—each inspired by real herbs and their unique colors, scents, textures, tastes, and transformations.
After completing their adventure, each participant will use ingredients they've encountered along the way to create their own Halloween potion bottle, decide what kind of magic it holds, give it a name, and design a personalized label to take home.
Kids will taste, touch, smell, experiment, move, imagine, and discover—because sometimes the best way to build a relationship with the natural world is simply to play with it.

Who Is This For?
This workshop is designed primarily for children ages 5–12, though younger children are welcome at their parent's discretion.
Curious kids, imaginative minds, Halloween lovers, and families ready to get a little weird with plants are all welcome. 🎃

Can parents participate?
Absolutely! Parents and caregivers are encouraged to explore, investigate, and join the adventure alongside their child. You do not need to register yourself as a participant.
Can I bring more than one child?
Yes! Additional siblings can be registered for $15 each. Please make sure every child creating a potion bottle is included in your registration.
Can I bring kids younger than 5?
This workshop is designed with ages 5–12 in mind, but you know your child best. If you have a younger child who you feel would enjoy the adventure, engage with the activities, and be comfortable in a group setting, you're welcome to use your own judgment. Just plan to offer a little extra hands-on support if they need it. And younger siblings are always welcome!
What if my child has allergies?
Please include any herbal allergies on the registration form so I can plan accordingly. Some sensory experiences may involve touching, smelling, or tasting herbs, and ingredients can be excluded completely when needed.
